This wonderful drink is made from hibiscus flowers and cooked down with cane sugar into a syrup. The taste is fruity, sweet, and very refreshing. This syrup is a concentrate and can be mixed with 4-5 parts water depending on taste. It can be enjoyed on its own or used as an addition in all mixed drinks - with or without alcohol. For example, sparkling wine can be wonderfully diluted with this syrup, making it the Caribbean answer to the Kir Royal.
